Unique Curriculum

At YOUTH, inclusion and representation is the foundation of your child’s experience as we guide their musical journey. Our goal is to give our students the foundation and resources to develop a sense of musical ownership. Students will experience music visually, aurally and kinesthetically to develop connections between music and the world around them. With this intuitive curriculum, students will gain musical independence, performance adaptability, diverse repertoire and authentic exposure.

Independence

Through varied experiences with the music they are learning, YOUTH’s students are able to pull from an arsenal of knowledge to facilitate their independent practice.

By encouraging students to engage with music aurally, visually, and physically, YOUTH develops sensitive musicians who can adjust to the needs of a piece and ensemble.

Diversity

Through this unique curriculum, YOUTH’s students will learn the necessary technique, theory and performance skills to be able to compete at a high level of performance.

Exposure

By connecting with local musicians, YOUTH will guide students to connect with music beyond the classroom by exposing them to the musical culture in their own community.
